Taking part in one of our productions is enormous fun. Some children join W11 Opera for just one or two years whilst others begin at the age of nine and then perform with us every year until they leave school. You make lots of new friends of all ages from schools throughout London. Many former cast members recall that they especially enjoyed mixing with the older and more experienced performers when they started and then loved mentoring the younger ones in their final years with W11.
For parents it offers the opportunity to get involved in a unique community project where they too will make new friends from all walks of life.
This is what our cast members and parents have said:
“My 3 years at W11 were honesty some of the best moments of my life and I am so grateful for the experience.”

“I think every bit of W11 Opera is absolutely super! It’s really good to not always have to do schoolwork and think about school but to take a really fun break and meet up out of school with different people and especially W11 Opera because it’s basically an essential part of life that one time or another you just have to have fun!”
