Auditions 2019

EVER YOUNG – a new opera by Russell Hepplewhite (composer) and Helen Eastman (librettist)

Auditions for this year’s production will be held on 2nd September (Years 9-Upper Sixth/ages 13-18), 3rd September (Years 5-8/ages 9-12) with call-backs for main roles on 5th September at James’s Church, St James’s Gardens, W11.

Auditions are open to all 9-18 year olds who enjoy singing & acting. Commitment to the rehearsal schedule is far more important than previous voice training.  Auditionees will take part in solo auditions as well as a group workshop.

Auditionees should prepare a short solo song, to be memorised and sung unaccompanied. The audition panel will be comprised of the Stage Director, Musical Director and Movement Director. Choose a song you love and know well so you can perform to the best of your abilities and portray the emotions of the text and music.
