40th party, June 2011
W11 Opera for Young People celebrated it's 40th anniversary with a reunion gala at the Louise Blouin Foundation in W11 on Monday 20th June 2011. Nearly 500 current and former cast members, parents, creatives, composers, librettists and friends enjoyed drinks, canapés, gelato and a short performance by members of The Whale Savers (2009) and Rain Dance (2010) casts. The founders of W11 Opera, Serena Hughes and Nicholas Kraemer, were there to celebrate with people involved with W11 from the 1970's to today. Everyone enjoyed a wonderful evening filled with chatter and song.
